This is a good place to go on Home studio setups , Home Recording has really taken off, and making your own Mp3 could not be more easier than with Pro Tools 8.0 Software, I am not sure about Pro Tools 9 yet, I have not invested in this update, nor do I see myself doing the update for 500 dollars, I am in this for my own entertainment and back to making Mp3s,You Have to pay an extra 10.00 for the Mp3 software for pro tools yet it's valuable, after the mix down, your ready to burn an mp3, that simple and then put it on Soundclick.com or some other site you can sell your mp3 for. I am on Soundclick.com/christopherhyer so check out my noise and see what you think. I just have fun and I make a few dollars using this service. The Mp3 that is output by Pro Tools could not sound any cleaner than I want. Its digital and perfect, maybe not the song but the best I can produce. I tell you if you don't have a digital audio workstation you are missing out on the fun. Even if you can't play a note You can learn so easily with a keyboard and this software from M-Audio, I highly recommend it to people all the time, you will sound like a pro recording artist in no time. The Software comes with 7 Pre Loaded Virtual Instruments and you can't ask for more than that. You get three synthesizer and a drum machine a BD-33 air blown Ordan , and a Grand Piano, just to name a few of the perks and the interface ,takes bit of knowledge to get it up and running, yet in a week or so you can be just like a pro. M-Audio Fast Track USB 2 Computer Audio Interface

by M-Audio  for reasons that I can , I use this very Instrument for Soundclick.com recordings , yeah go check me out at Soundclick.com artist name is Christopher Hyer or Hyer Specialties will get you there and hear how I made this Fast Track whail like a rock star. I can't say enough about this product M-Audio has come out with, Of course you will need a fast PC or Mac book to run this program well, it is far cheaper than spending 300USD at a studio recording your music that you want to get out of the house with. Yes you can make Mp3 files for an extra 10.00USD , or maybe now it comes with it, You can make Windows Media Files, WAV files and a few others, all at a speedy rate so you do not lose sound quality. Its Just magnificant , someday I wil move up from this. I use Pro Tools 8.0 which is an extra 500.00 uds , yet if you have fast track I think you can get pro tools for a discount of 200.00USD. I have had mine for almost a year, no issues.
